Fine, fine, fine
The amazing views from our room overlooking Shagawa Lake were nice, especially at sunset! With an inviting pool and jacuzzi area that felt serene and family-friendly, there was always a perfect spot to unwind. Plus, the staff were very nice-especially Rodger, who brightened our days with his extensive knowledge of outdoor activities in the area.
100% recommend 💖🌟

I stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Double Room. The view from the window was amazing, right by the lake. The beds were super comfy, and the room was clean but a bit dated. Amenities were basic, like the fridge and bathroom fixtures could use an upgrade. Internet was good though. Overall, it was cozy and comfortable enough for our trip.

The brilliant location adjacent to two lakes offered spectacular views from the room. The staff at the front desk were not only welcoming but also adept at solving any issues that came up, particularly Rodger, who was fantastic with outdoor activities. However, parking was limited, and while the indoor pool was a highlight, it felt more of a base for exploring rather than a destination itself.

100% recommend for a brief stopover
Comfortable room, clean facilities, with a lovely indoor pool that was refreshing after a long day of hiking and friendly staff who were always willing to help during our stay.
A bit outdated and could use some renovations.

We had an awesome time enjoying the free canoe usage and relaxing in the hot tub during our stay. The indoor pool and sauna really helped us unwind after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, breakfast isn't included, but there are great dining options nearby! 🌊

great base for exploring nearby parks and attractions
We enjoyed our stay here, especially the cozy atmosphere and the hot tub felt amazing after our city strolls and adventures at the international wolf center and ely arts and heritage center, which are both just a short walk away. this hotel is perfect for families looking to combine nature with leisure. but housekeeping could use a bit of improvement.

We had a fantastic time at the lodge! The full-service marina was excellent for our family's outdoor adventures, and the staff was super friendly, especially with our newborn. We enjoyed a peaceful stroll down to the lake, soaking in the stunning views. Plus, the dining experience was surprisingly delightful.
In my wife’s opinion, more kid-friendly activities would be great.
